... but you can't take the Plough Inn out of the boy.

Jai McDowall is clearly having a phenomenal time. The Ayrshire lad has just won Britain's Got Talent and performed at the Clyde for the first time a couple weeks back.  But before he became the BGT darling, Jai was singing karaoke to his pals at the Plough Inn in Tarbolton.

Clearly the Clyde is a wee bit bigger venue than the Plough Inn, and we wanted to make sure Jai didn't get too nervous. Which is why we sent 20 of Jai's closest friends and loyal supporters from his pub days to Glasgow to see him take the big stage.  The crew of 20 were given tickets to the show and escorted from the Plough Inn, Tarbolton to the front steps of the Clyde in true BRU style.
